SPECIFICATIONS: PRECISION LASER WINDOWS
Flatness: l/20
Regularity: l/20
Cosmetic Quality: 10/5, scratch-dig
Thickness: ±0.1mm
Bevel: 0.25 at 45°, both edges
Parallelism: Less than 10 arc-seconds
Material: Fused quartz, Selected UV grade.
The special BBV coating on these windows is a hard multi-layer dielectric coating which has a reflection of less than 0.3% per surface at 4880Å, 5145Å and 6328Å at the same time. Therefore, this window can be used with all these popular lasers and only one window has to be kept in stock.

COATING SPECIFICATION
Although the windows of the 042-WQP and 043-WQU are stocked uncoated, they can be coated quickly with a large range of antireflection coatings.
These coatings are made of hard dielectric layers applied in custom coating machines at 250°C or more. At Republic Lens Optical Products, Inc., we can offer these coatings over the spectral range of 3000Å to 2.5µ, and at angles of incidence up to 60°.

This coating (see above) is a single layer hard coat of magnesium fluoride for use in general optical systems. The coating gives a reflectivity of 1.3% per surface at 0° incidence and 2% per surface at 45° incidence.
This coating is a multilayer dielectric coating providing a reflectivity of less than 0.3% per surface at 0° incidence. This is the classical two layer laser V coat and it is available from 3000Å to 2.5µ and angles up to 60°. Here is an order example: A 50mm precision window coated for YAG laser at 30° incidence with 0.15% per surface is called out as 041-WQP-004 Coated: ARQ 02-30-1.06.
This coating is a broadband antireflective coating with reflectivity of less than 0.5% per surface from 450µ to 750µ when the central wavelength is 0.55µ at normal incidence.
For other coatings, detailed specifications and typical transmission charts, see the coating section.
